WWF's Earth Hour 2021 watch party goes live today

The countdown to the Grand Switch-Off starts at 3:30 p.m.

One of the world’s largest grassroots movements for nature, Earth Hour 2021 starts at 3:30 p.m. today, March 27, live via World Wildlife Fund (WWF) PhilippinesKicking off the event is Earth Hour PHlix 2021, which offers a series of online discussions on environmental issues with advocates and experts. The watch party leads up to the Grand Switch-Off at 8:30 p.m. 

With world leaders set to converge at United Nations conferences this year to discuss concrete solutions to the climate crisis, WWF asks citizens from all over the world to #SpeakUpForNature by demanding more effective commitments to creating a sustainable world. EH PHlix 2021 aims to give Filipinos more solutions to help the environment, as well as a platform to #SpeakUpForNature.


Here's a lineup of today's events: 

Filipinos can also learn more about living a sustainable lifestyle with the Earth Hour Sustainability Challenge, where ambassadors and advocates share their experiences and complete a set of eco-conscious challenges. Running until March 30, everyone is invited to participate on social media through the hashtags #EarthHour2021 and #SpeakUpForNature.
